Front view of the propertyThis is the front view of the property, looking from the road, with the mountain view beyond. The home's facade is deceptively plain in comparison to the walls of glass on the home's back side. |
Our 20 mile viewFrom inside the home, the view extends 20 miles to the east, across the Massanutten Resort and the Shenandoah Valley. The home enjoys morning sunrises over the mountain, while the far side of the valley is bright with light at sunset. At night, you can see the twinkle of lights across the valley. |
Home and ski slopesBlue Ridge Overlook is located at the top of the mountain, just to the right of Massanutten's ski area. The slopes are a two block walk away, and the base lodge is a short drive down the mountain. |
Interior viewThe two-story living room is open to the kitchen and dining area. Stairs to the right lead up to the home's loft. Take note of our stuffed animal trophies on the wall. |
Our trophy wallVisitors to Blue Ridge Overlook are greeted by our three hunting "trophies", hard won from a recent stuffed animal hunting expedition! |
KitchenThe home's kitchen features newer appliances, maple cabinets, and plenty of counter space. It's fully furnished with dishes, pots & pans, glassware, and cooking utensils. |
Screened porchFrom the dining area, sliding doors lead to the home's screened porch -- an excellent place to take in the view on a cool summer morning. |

Massanutten waterparkYou really have to see it to believe it. Massanutten is home to a $30 million indoor waterpark. The park has countless attractions, including 5 enormous slides, a lazy river, multiple pools, two towers with giant buckets, and even pools for infants. It's all about 5 minutes from Blue Ridge Overlook. |

Massanutten ResortA Google Earth image of Massanutten, looking southwest. The [A] marker shows Blue Ridge Overlook's location within the geological formation known as the Massanutten Kettle. The ski area is to the left of the home, with trails descending down from Massanutten Peak. The fairways of the Mountain Greens Golf Course can be seen further below in the valley. In the foreground is the Harshberger Gap, the main entrance to the resort area. |
